the LBD

So i finally managed to ask my fiance to take some pictures of me in the black dress i made.  I used black lace and a random black stretchy material under the lace.
The idea for this dress is actually really old and to be honest me and my best friend already did a very similar dress for a fashion-show-competition-thingy and we gave it to one of our models as a present afterwards. But i liked the dress so very very much that i just had to recreate it, well not the exact same dress, i made some modifications and changes to the original design but the idea is still the same- lots of lace, long sleeves and a turtleneck collar.
And here come the pictures.

PS. I'm not the best model but because the dress is all black and i wanted you to separate the lace from the black fabric under the lace, i had to put the dress on to take the pictures, otherwise it would have been a big black mess and no lace to see.

Until my next post.

Halloween.

We don't celebrate Halloween in Estonia much but this was the second year in the row when me and my friends did celebrate it. I always get so exited about theme parties and do  a lot of research. Last year around Halloween i was surfing in youtube and i found this really talented guy (username Petrilude) who is a make-up artist and he also does really scary and freaky looking make-ups for Halloween. So this year i naturally looked him up again and checked if he had posted something new. I found many that i liked and wanted to try to do but the final choice was to use Petriludes zombie tutorial and exposed teeth tutorial. So if you want to know how to do these looks or you need some other makeup tutorials then just click on the links and have a look. And now to the pictures...

First a couple of pictures of making the zombie look..

And the result:

And then some pictures of making the exposed teeth look..

 And the result of that:

And now for my own costume I used Petriludes unzipped tutorialas inspiration and the goal was to be a creepy looking doll.

And the final outcome. This picture was actually taken right before i was going to remove the zipper because it started to annoy me(it was kind of hard to drink and eat with it)

So before we went out to the bar I changed the look a bit. But i looooove the black contact lenses i bought for this look.(my eyes are naturally green)

PS. the looks didn't come out perfect but at least people on the streets were impressed and easy to frighten ;D
PSPS. the pictures ain't very bright and some of them are foggy because i was moving when the picture was taken..sorry about that.
PSPSPS. I made a black dress a couple of weeks ago but i haven't had the chance to take any good pictures of it, but hopefully i will make a post of the dress in the next few days.

Toddler dress

Once again i haven't posted anything for a while but now i will and there will probably be some more posts soon because now i have my own sewing machine which was a birthday present from my parents and grandmother(thank you all so much!!). And my first project with it was making a toddler dress for my little sister. The main idea was to make something really colourful and fun and personally i think i have succeeded :))

this is my simple Singer

Two summers ago..

I took my mums old bike and decided to turn it into something really nice. Unfortunately i don't have any before-pictures of the bike but i can tell you that it was of an ugly and boring dark green colour, at least in my opinion. So I wanted to paint it pink and add some white patterns and I did, it was a fun project that lasted a couple of days and the result...well i like it very much and i like the fact that it draws attention in the town :))
And i thank my sister Hedda for helping me a lot on those days :)

Yarn, paint and pearls.

My little sister wanted to do some cards to her friends so I decided to join her. First we painted some nice pictures and then my little sister taught me a really nice way to make cards more interesting. You just have to twirl some yarn around your finger quite loose then you take the yarn and glue it to the card and finally you will take some pearls and glue those into the center of the yarn. And the result..beautiful and simple :))
The right one on the last picture is done by me, other ones are my sisters :))
Sometimes it is really nice to learn things from a 3-year-old ;D
Hugs.

Older projects

Ok, I finally have some time to continue blogging with my next post.
The next few pictures are some of my older jewelry projects. Unfortunately I haven't had any time to make new jewelery since Christmas. But I will make some time soon when the school break starts.

These were a Christmas present for my boyfriends sister Anna. These are probably one of my favourite earrings I have ever made. Although they were really easy to make it was fun to make them and the result was nice and girly. The perfect pair to wear with a cute skirt :)

I used some red glass pearls and a lot of wire for making these. Fun and time consuming ;D

The inspiration of making these came from an Estonian chef-model-fashion icon Anni Arro. These are SO simple but at the same time quite showy.

These earrings were really fun to make because it was all about the randomness of the wire and the colour of the pearls. The white cubes are glass and the green ones are swarovski.

This post came out quite dry and not so interesting but I hope that when I get to posting about the newer stuff it will be more interesting and passionate  :))

But now... good night.

The First.

So I've decided to start a new blog. Of my ticklish fingers, which means I like to do all kinds of crafting starting from making handmade paper and postcards to sewing, knitting, embroidery etc.
And now I will try keeping a blog about those fingers of mine that like to make nice things :)

Oh, and why English not Estonian? Well because it gives more people the possibility to read and understand what I do and write and it also gives me a challenge.

I hope this will be a successful and a very enjoyable project(i don't have any doubts about the latter one).

I hope to post some pictures of my resent craft projects later tonight or maybe tomorrow.

Meanwhile  have a beautiful day!
